Recently bought this mothboard, and a mp510 240gb for the os in the bottom m.2 slot, and a mp600 for data in the top m.2 slot, the mp600 didnt work and would not show in the bios, eventually got the pc to boot and windows detected the mp600 but reported a fault.

Both m.2 slots support pcie 4.0 x 4 mode so you can use either one. You will see specifications of your motherboard, scroll until you see as shown below. The drive uses sata protocol so install in slot m.2 1 and sata6g_1 port will be disabled so any other ssd's or hhd's cannot use that port.
